Julie's legal foundation is built upon a combination of rigorous academic leadership and diverse practical experience. While in law school at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, Julie served as the Executive Articles Editor for the Florida Entertainment and Sports Law Review—the state’s premier journal in the field—and as the Vice President of Entertainment and Art Law for the school’s Entertainment, Art & Sports Law Society. As a Research Assistant to Brechner Scholar Professor Jane Bambauer, she co-authored scholarship on U.S. and E.U. misinformation regulations and presented her findings at the 2025 Paris Conference for A.I. and Digital Ethics. Julie gained broad litigation and transactional experience through summer internships in-house for a billion-dollar, publicly traded company and at a high-volume litigation firm. Julie joined Adwar Ivko as a third-year law student where she contributed to a broad range of matters and gained meaningful experience serving clients in the art and entertainment industries.

Before receiving her education, Julie was a professionally trained ballerina, whose career took her from the Gelsey Kirkland Academy in New York City to The Dutch National Ballet in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, all before the age of 18. She continues to train and teach ballet, and honors her connections to the performing arts by serving as a career mentor for the Second Act Network, a New York City-based nonprofit that serves a global network of professional dancers of all disciplines looking to leverage their unique skills into secondary careers.
